Mercedes-Benz have used, and continue to use, timing chains on their engines with great success. Whilst chains tend to have a longer service life than toothed belts, some engines still suffer from premature wear of the chains. The kit includes the tools to split, assemble and fit the temporary links required to fit the new chain..
