Description

Ensures the correct alignment of the front lower timing case cover on BMW B37 and B38 engines. It also helps prevent damage to the new seal during fitting. Use with Laser 7242 Timing Chain Kit (B38 engines), Laser 6997 (B37 engines), Laser 7300 Crankshaft Holding and Turning Kit and Laser 7253 Balance Shaft Removal and Fitting Kit.
  • Applications include: BMW 1 Series, 2 Series, 3 Series, 4 Series, X1 & X2; MINI Clubman, Countryman & Hatch.
  • Engine codes: B37C, B37D, B38A & B38B.
  • Used to align the front engine cover; use in accordance with OEM instructions.
  • Equivalent to OEM 2 357 900.
  • Note: Surface of the tool must be kept clean and scratch free to ensure correct operation.
