Description

This timing tool kit is designed to lock all 4 camshafts in their timed positions on the Porsche 911 GT2 and 911 Turbo fitted with the 4 cam 3.6L engines. Allows replacement of both camchains while maintaining engine timing. The kit also includes 2 camchain pre-tensioners.
  • Applications include: Porsche 911 GT2 and Turbo (2001 - 2010).
  • Engine code applications include: M97/70S, M97/70, M96/70SL and M96/70E.
  • Equivalent to OEM 9661, 9661/1 and 9401.
  • Use with appropriate DTi (Dial Gauge indicator) and stand to accurately set the camshaft positions - see Laser Part No. 7687.
  • Designed to be used in accordance with OEM instructions.
