Description

The Laser 8243 kit allows the Hyundai and Kia 1.6 AdBlue® diesel engine to be locked in its timed position, when timing belt replacement and engine timing checks are to be accurately performed.
  • Hyundai applications include: i30 (from 2019), i40 (from 2018), Kona (from 2018) and Tucson (from 2018).
  • Kia applications include: Ceed (from 2018), Optima (from 2018), ProCeed (from 2019), Sportage (from 2018), Stonic (from 2018) and XCeed (from 2019).
  • Equivalent to OEM tools: 09240-2U100, 09240-2U400, 09240-2U300 and 09240-2U500.
  • Engine codes covered include: 1.6L D4FE (U3).
  • For flywheel locking use with Laser Part No. 7348. For high pressure diesel pump removal use with Laser Part No. 8111. Made in Sheffield.
