Tesla battery casings have side rails (ski’s) which can be damaged due to side impact or poor jacking procedures. The 8817 clamps are ideal to assist in the correct removal and fitting of these side ski rails (Battery removed). A pair of ratchet bar clamps, with a throat depth of 88mm and a clamping pressure of 180kg the 8817 clamps can be used to clamp the battery casing side rail (ski) during removal and fitting. Also suitable for holding down the battery lid during fitment. They feature an ergonomic grip for comfort, together with a quick release button for ease of use, and allow for single-handed use. A second quick release feature Allows the jaws to be removed and turned around to allow the clamps to be used as spreaders, ideal for holding assembly’s in a particular position during assembly.
